We're into double digit days!!

I don't think I can remember a time in my life when I've had this much fun too be honest. I hate to rub it in your face if you've had a rough couple of days but I really have enjoyed every moment of my time in the studio these past couple days. A LOT is getting done and have really come up with some new sounds and arraignments I never saw coming so it feels good to not only be able to write music but to feel creative and energized about it at the same time.
We've only been really focused on two songs since Monday and already I feel like this record really comes out the way I'm feeling right now in my life. Not that I forced anything with the last one but for some reason this time I really feel like I'm in the right place. I hope that's not a feeling I'm just forcing. But I guess you shouldn't second guess a good feeling.
I'll be tweeting more music and more photos as the sessions go on so feel free to meet up on twitter if you'd like.
I'll also be sticking up exclusive videos on HarleyJay.com as the time goes on and on so check back when you get the time and make sure you haven't missed out on anything because I don't want to constantly bombard you with facebook and twitter updates sometimes I'll just sneak stuff up like some smooth "operator," that way I can get in and get out. :-)
While I've been in the studio and writing some of the songs for the record I've been video taping and documenting what ever I could so at some point (not sure when this will be exactly) I'll put out a little 20 or 25 minute documentary that I'll share with you once I've worked it all out.
The lesson I've learned today is no one likes a jackass.::cough cough... Kanye Cough:: So don't be one.

I've spread the love of your music with someone who met you back in Fresno RENT tour 07, she was saying how she wanted one of your songs and I zipped the file and sent it over to her on aim. Another fan of yours her cd wasn't playing some of the tracks, so that got sent to her as well. I will be burning cd's for next week to put all over the school. My campus is pretty big and I've noticed more things go to people on the tables if they're on cd's so I will be putting in a cd sleeve about your blog spot, twitter, website, and facebook hoping to get your music out.
Honestly by your positive posts I don't think it's a feeling your forcing or anything like that. If you felt that way about the first cd think of it as being the first day of first grade, nervous, you don't know how people are going to react to you and your creative talent. So put that in a year it's still the first year of a cd coming out and you don't know how people are going to respond. I'm hoping well since getting your music out that sales have sky rocketed and that it's everything you've dreamed of. Now please continue updating about the progress with your second album. I do have to ask.. Will you put 'Glory' from RENT on another cd? I was sort of bummed it didn't make it on Between 41st and 53rd, but I can understand having a hard time picking and choosing your favorite songs from the musicals you've either been in, or were your favorites to put together a cd.
Continue the great success and inspiration, I come here daily to read about what all your doing and though some times it has nothing to do with me on making music at the time since I've only have one song written, just the words of inspiration mean a lot.

Thanks for sharing your album making expiriences with us Harley!! I'm soo glad that this album is really coming together. I absolutely love Without Wax and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna absolutely love the next album as well.
